The grandeur of La Rioja comes from the fact that one single region can have so many grape varieties and different terroirs.
In Marqués de Tomares, we have combined various vineyards allowing us to produce a collection of fine wines provide a reflection of the character and diversity of this "denominación de origen".
OUR VINEYARDS
With vines planted at 400-700 meters of altitude, Marqués de Tomares grows traditional grapes in various micro locations in la Rioja.
The 100 hectares of vines form a curated collection of parcels spread out in Rioja Alta, a rich territory which is now a viticultural heritage.
Some of those vineyards date more than one hundred years, some of which are planted with various grape varieties, a reflection of the historical approach to grape growing.
In Marqués de Tomares, we see la Rioja as an ensemble of different landscapes, vineyards and grape varieties, coming together with a common philosophy , generating wines with exceptional balance and personality.
